Los Kamer is a fusion band that blends Latin rhythms and Balkan beats into a repertoire of all-original compositions.
By weaving together Latin and Balkan traditions with elements of jazz, swing, Western, klezmer, Romani, and traditional Mexican music, Los Kamer has forged a sound that is both distinctive and unmistakably their own. The result is an explosive and captivating live set — celebratory yet profound — guaranteed to get audiences moving while also offering a subtle ode to the outcasts and storytellers of the world.
Founded in Ixtapaluca (Mexico), they have been musical nomads whose sound has reached Europe. where they have completed nine successful tours between 2015 and 2025. Some of the countries with which they have shared their music: Hungary, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Poland, England, France and Switzerland, among many others.
They were able to perform at major festivals such as: Masala Weltbeat Festival (DE), Landjuweel (NL), Goulash Disko (HR), Boomtown Fair 2017, 2018, 2022 (UK), Glastonbury Festival 2019 (UK) and Panonnica Folk Festival (PL)
Los Kamer’s music is part of the growing BalkanMex movement and draws inspiration from artists such as Äl Jawala, Dubioza Kolektiv, Besh o Drom, Fanfare Ciocărlia, Taraf de Haïdouks, Amsterdam Klezmer Band, Manu Chao, and Emir Kusturica. In October 2022, the band had the honor of opening for Emir Kusturica & The No Smoking Orchestraduring his farewell tour. One year later, in October 2023, Los Kamer opened for Dubioza Kolektiv on their first-ever tour in Mexico — another milestone in their trajectory.
In 2023, Los Kamer embarked on their first Asian tour, performing nine shows in just thirteen days across Japan, including Tokyo, Kobe, and Osaka, further expanding their international presence.
The year 2025 marked a major turning point with the release of Balkan Wild Night, a new chapter in the band’s sound featuring explosive, high-energy compositions that fully embrace their signature blend of Latin rhythms and Balkan beats.
Looking ahead, Los Kamer are currently preparing their 10th European tour in 2026, continuing to bring their infectious live energy to audiences around the world.
