Cuervo Cuervo is the meeting of the minds of Argentinian musician and charango player Agustin Ganem and American producer and multi instrumentalist Benjamin Hill
After a chance meeting on the streets of Bacalar in 2018, they joined forces to create a unique fusion of psychedelic electronic music fused with Latin American folk and live improvisation. They are known for electrifying live performances featuring virtuosic displays of musicianship, tasteful electronics, live looping, and a capacity for improvisation and collaboration. Ganem combines his mastery of South American charango and guitar with live looping, while Hill fuses North American electronic music with the folk influences of lapsteel guitar and classic Latin percussion elements such as caxixi and bongo. Not two live performances of Cuervo Cuervo are ever alike - each is a unique improvisational dialogue between the two that is created directly on the spot for each audience.
Cuervo Cuervo's first self-titled, self-released album was released with support from tastemaker Andrés Oddone's Cassette Blog in October of 2019.
They have since then self-released an EP, AguaMagica, with Terror/Cactus, as well as popular singles on compilations through Fertíl Discos (Argentina), Cosmovision, and Ritmos del Sur.
They have also been solicited to create remixes for international producers worldwide like El Remolón (Argentina), ScottNice (US), Mose (US), LŪKA (US), and XiqueXique (France).
Their second full length album “Las Cartas”, was released in June 2025 through Platoon (UK) & Magic Movement (Berlin), with an international tour that followed.
In addition they have plans to launch an EP on Resueño (Guatemala), an EP with Sophie of Guacayo (Germany), many new remixes, and are working simultaneously on an acoustic album as well as an electronic album.
To date, Cuervo Cuervo has played 100s of shows at sold-out venues and festivals across Mexico, Argentina, Guatemala, Europe and the United States
Since 2024 the project has gained a lot of momentum with ambitious tours across Mexico, Europe, and the United States.

THE ACOUSTIC SET
Combining guitar, lapsteel and charango ronroco, the duo takes audiences on an intimate journey through their music.
Beautiful, spacious, minimal, and emotive, the music transports listeners through their deepest inner landscapes, while also lifting them to dance and sing, as Ben and Agustin share their infectious energy and musical connection.
At home in ceremonies, living rooms, or concert halls, Cuervo Cuervo’s acoustic set is a moving take on the duo’s repertoire, open in to incorporating other musicians and vocalists.
THE ELECTRONIC SET
The genesis of the project - ronroco, lapsteel, live looping, live synth and drum manipulation, improvised arrangements, and a thrilling dialogue between artist and audience - each performance is a unique experience created for that moment - no playback tracks, this is truly live electronic music, surprising and delighting the listeners as much as the artists themselves. The set moves through many rhythms, tempos and feelings - from instrospective to ecstatic - it is a throughly danceable experience that stimulates the mind and opens the heart.

Made in collaboration with renouned Mexican visual artist and mapping master, Carlos Infante aka VJ Infante, this is the complete Cuervo Cuervo experience for the senses, first demonstrated at Mérida Fest. Each visual is tailored to each song and expertly mapped to an existing structure orinstallation. The environment comes alive with animations, illustrations, videos and ethnic art to the rhythm of the music, executed live with audioreactive tools, light sensors and hardware to create an incredible audiovisual experience. Psychedelic, mysterious and uplifting - this is a dialogue between two masters of their craft, and truly a spectacle to behold.
