The Artist.
Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Diego Moreno is a multidisciplinary performer, creator, and instructor specializing in stilts performance, contemporary dance, physical theatre, and circus arts. With a background in aerial techniques such as vertical dance, harness flying on stilts, and ongoing training in straps, his work blends movement, dramaturgy, and strong visual language into unique dance-theatre creations.
Trained as a Professional Technician in Contemporary Dance, Diego developed a personal artistic language through extensive national and international projects, research, and collaborations with renowned teachers including Eugenio Barba and Richard Dagenais (Sparc Project). His practice spans performance, direction, and pedagogy.

He has presented work at major festivals such as the Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro de Bogotá, International Theatre Festival of Manizales, and Curaçao Carnival, and has worked extensively across Colombia, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Europe. From 2022 to 2024, he was a performer and artistic manager at Galeón Pirata Cultural Center in Bacalar, Mexico. In 2024, Diego was invited to perform at European festivals including Parookaville, Zugvøgel, and Bucht der Träumer in Germany.
